Conscious Politics
Welcome to CONSCIOUS POLITICS
Conscious Politics intends to provide creative, constructive, and new ways of thinking about the daunting challenges we face using solutions-oriented approaches grounded in social science. Conscious politics endeavors to offer promising, plausible, and psychologically sound approaches to difficult issues in global politics - violence, terrorism, war, weapons of mass destruction and ethnopolitical conflict.
I am a clinical and political psychologist, mediator, conflict analyst and interdisciplinary social scientist as well as a cancer support educator and health coach. Based in Washington, D.C., I am also a Visiting Scholar at The George Mason University School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution.
In 2018, I created a special card deck with activities as a teaching tool honoring the 70th Anniversary of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights. I am developing a companion
Activity/Workbook/Journal for use in workshops, events and schools to raise consciousness about human rights.
Feel free to contact me about inquiries for lectures, workshops, presentations and other collaboration.
